U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jeremy Tedford's deployment showed the two sides of life as a military family.
When Sgt. Tedford left for the Central Command area of responsibility, his family's sadness was touching. Indeed, one of his daughters was in floods of tears. When he returned to the Rickenbacker Air National Guard base in Ohio, just in time for Christmas, there were more tears from his loved ones. Only this time, they were tears of joy.
